Cull & Co. author Peter Humphrey hit the front pages over the festive period in an extraordinary story.

A six-year-old schoolgirl from London found a desperate plea from inmates at Chinese Qingpu prison, Shanghai, inside a Tesco charity Christmas card.

Tesco suspended the Chinese supplier of the Christmas cards last Sunday and said it had launched an investigation.

Peter and his wife Ying are currently working on a memoir about their own experiences inside the same prison, after being arrested by the Chinese government while working as corporate fraud investigators on charges that were never heard in court.
